New Lion and Lamb Party Favor Kit

So, this really awesome mom contacted me about making some Lion and Lamb Note Holder party favors for her son's 1st birthday. I love making party kits!

While I was in the middle of making her order (you can see the old version of the party favor here), I decided to switch up my party favor packaging a little. Because I'm ca-raaazy like that. I am so thrilled with how it all turned out! I LOVE IT!

Here are the lions:

And the lambies:

And a little bit of a combo:

And the sweetest part - the back! All cute-ified and personalized for the birthday boy. SERIOUSLY. I LOVE IT!

Each birthday party guest gets to take one home!

Are you noticing the color-coordinated yarn on each one? Because I love that part.

And, of course, I include a birthday message to be used as a table topper or birthday card:

And it is all wrapped up in a cute box to be opened before the party:

Leaf Suncatcher Party Kit

It's been on the grand To Do List to set up a Leaf Suncatcher Party Kit. I was lagging on that particular task until one cool mom asked me to create a Sharing Day activity for her son's classroom. Sometimes I just need a little push!

Introducing my new Leaf Suncatcher Party Kit!

When Ella saw all the supplies out, she wanted to make another one. In her 4 1/2 years she's made about 20 of these. For some reason (C'mon! You know the reason! The Leaf Suncatcher craft is awesome yo!), my kids never get tired of making this craft.

Notice the new frame paper we used. I call it Disco Corn Cob Funk. Ella loves it.

Anyway! Back to the party kit.

Individual craft supply bags for each party guest (or student):

And I always include some:

All labeled and sweetly packaged:

But really it looks like this so it will all fit when I close up the box:

Piggy Bank Classroom Kit

Little Ava is one lucky girl! Her mom is going to make a Piggy Bank for each of the party guests who come to her birthday party.

Mom is going to set them out as decorations and then the little party-goers get to take them home as party favors. I think that the Piggy party decorations will be super cute, but I forgot to warn her that when piggies get together Them Piggies Is Crazy!

Since mom is making all the piggies herself before the party, we decided that a Classroom Kit would be the perfect match. All of the crafting supplies, none of the prepping or shopping or organizing hassle. Pure crafting fun!

All the supplies are labeled and sweetly packaged (look at all those white styrofoam piggy legs waiting to be painted the perfect piggy pink!):

Butterfly Party Kit

I have made a lot of party kits since I opened my etsy store a couple years ago. But this Butterfly Party Kit has a special place in my heart. It's just so classic and simple and fun.

I also think it's great since the party-goers can really personalize their butterflies with color. I've done this craft with hundreds (really!) of kids and no two butterflies are ever exactly alike.

And on the grown-up side of things, it's so fun to watch little kids get excited as they experience the magic of color blending. My own kids have made these butterflies many, many times. They still get amazed when they dip their marker-scribbled coffee filters into the cup of water and watch as the colors blend before their very eyes.

On to the party kit! Here we go!

Lamb Party Kit

I just finished a sweet little lamb party kit for a 4-year-old's birthday party. It's soooo cute!

The little birthday girl had looked through my shop and decided that she and her twelve party guests should each make a lamb note holder at her birthday bash. Isn't that the sweetest choice? Can't you just imagine thirteen little cuties proudly running around with their own little lambies?

So I put together adorable little party favor supply bags for each guest:

(I packed the glue and glue supplies separately for the grown-ups to distribute, because who wants free-range glue roaming around at a 4-year-old's party? No one with a 4-year-old. Am I right? Seriously, just thinking about it makes me shudder.)

All filed neatly:

In a cute reusable box:

With a birthday message for the birthday girl that can be used as a table topper or birthday card:

You know, to make her feel extra special! How fun!

Caterpillar Party Kit

I love making party favor kits! I just finished this Caterpillar Party Kit for a 3-year-old's birthday party and I'm so thrilled with how it turned out.

Just imagine the pride of 12 sweet little party guests creating 12 sweet little garden caterpillars. The cuteness!

So here we go!

Little supply bags for each guest:

(Since this party kit is for really little kids, I pre-painted the caterpillars' heads and tails and pre-cut the body circles for easier crafting. Because I want moms to like me.)

all filed neatly:

in a cute reusable box:

with a birthday message for the birthday girl that can be used as a table topper or birthday card:

all wrapped up in a brown paper package tied up with... ribbon (Did you totally start singing right there? I should have wrapped it with string in homage, but matching ribbon is much prettier. Sorry, Maria.)

ready to be opened and enjoyed!

Party On, Mummy. Party On.

If you like inviting the undead to your parties, these guys should be at the top of your list. If you don't like inviting the undead to your parties, then you are really missing out. Because the undead are awesome. Don't be a wimp. If they decide to eat you and the other guests' brains, they're pretty slow moving. If you can't outrun them, it's probably your own fault. And besides, they only resort to brain eating if you don't serve good dip. Usually. Oh, who am I kidding? I cannot be held responsible for their actions. You buy 'em, you deal with 'em. It's on you.

Not just for kids! Hand each guest a Bag O' Mummy and have a blast. Really, my Bag O' Mummies are almost as safe as any of Dan Aykroyds' Bag O' products: Bag O' Glass, Bag O' Nails, Bag O' Bugs, Bag O' Vipers, Bag O' Sulfuric Acid. (Classic!) I give you my word. Besides, the mummies are really easy to make and the results are super cute. I mean terrifying. Whatever.

Each mummy is about 7 1/2 inches tall, so if they do attack, you can work together as a Mummy Hunting Team and stick them in the microwave. Messy, but probably effective. It's sure to make for a bonding experience that you will all be talking about for years. You know what that means, right? As long as most of you escape relatively unharmed, you will have thrown THE BEST HALLOWEEN PARTY EVER.

You're welcome. I'm the best.

The Mini Mummy Party Kit contains materials for 10 Mini Mummies, but I can make you more. If you dare.

Party on, Mummy. Party on.
