Disney and Pixar's Brave Looks Amazing!

Hey all!

Here are some newly released concept art pics for the upcoming movie BRAVE. They look amazing.

HIGHLAND OF THE “BRAVE” -- The rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland serve as the backdrop for BRAVE, a new tale that joins the land’s ancient lore—stories of epic battles and mystical legends passed down for generations.

HIGHLAND OF THE “BRAVE” -- The rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland serve as the backdrop for BRAVE, a new tale that joins the land’s ancient lore—stories of epic battles and mystical legends passed down for generations.

Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, BRAVE is the grand adventure of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer who confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts to discover the true meaning of courage. The film also features the voices of Emma Thompson, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane. BRAVE, full of heart, memorable characters and Pixar’s signature humor, takes aim at theaters on June 22, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

I highly recommend you go see this one! You can't go wrong when Pixar is involved.

We can't wait and I hope you can't wait either.

Disney's High School Musical Sharpay is Back in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.

Hey All!

My Family and I can't wait for April 19, 2011 when Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment
will be proudly unveil Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, an all-new movie on Blu-ray™ and DVD
staring Ashley Tisdale as she is reprising her role as Disney Channel’s global sensation “High School Musical” drama queen character Sharpay Evans. A full three minute sneak peek of the movie is now widely available for fans of all ages to get a glimpse of this hilarious fish out water tale about a small town Diva and her dog’s adventures in New York City at http://www.youtube.com/disneymovies

Additionally, a brand new Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure facebook page (www.facebook.com/DisneySharpay) and Twitter handle (@DisneySharpay) have also launched so
that fans can join and stay on-top of all the latest news, sneak peeks and messages from key cast members.

Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure releases nationwide as a 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack Superset
(Blu-ray + DVD+ Digital Copy) which includes a limited edition pink clutch purse, a 2-Disc Blu-ray
Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD), and a 1-Disc DVD. Hilarious bonus features include bloopers of
Ashley Tisdale and cast, special footage shot on-set by actor Austin Butler, and, exlcusive to the
Blu-ray disc, ”The Evolution of the Sharpay,” a fun look back at the famous High School Musical
character, Sharpay Evans.

From the original producers of High School Musical and the director of The Tooth Fairy, Sharpay’s
Fabulous Adventure is a witty comedy about pursuing your life-long dreams and believing in
yourself. The films catchy tunes, Sharpay’s lavishly glittery “pink” outfits, and the adorable featured
male co-stars - Austin Butler ("Life Unexpected," "Ruby and the Rockits" and “Zoey 101”) and
Bradley Steven Perry ("Good Luck Charlie") - will be sure to keep viewers fully entertained and
laughing throughout.

Bonus Features inclue:

• BLOOPERS (on Blu-ray & DVD) - Ashley Tisdale and the cast cut up on set.
• AUSTIN CAM (on Blu-ray & DVD) - Actor Austin Butler, who plays student filmmaker Petyon,
not only shoots scenes needed for the movie, but takes his camera behind the scenes to see
how Ashley Tisdale has fun between takes.
• THE EVOLUTION OF SHARPAY (on Blu-ray only) - Ashley Tisdale traces the development
of her bigger-than-life character from the High School Musical movies through her current
movie.

We can't wait to see this movie as we are huge fans of the High School Musical movies. I highly recommend this film when it comes out. I'm sure you will love as I know we will!

Magnetic Pen Holder

Oh, Martha Stewart, you think you're so fancy with your vintage tins. And how you turn your fancy vintage tins into extra fancy refrigerator pen holders. And all I have is this old mint tin.

(Cue Beastie Boys) KICK IT!

I took off the lid:

And measured out some paper to match my desktop organizer:

And Mod Podged away:

 And folded around:

Like so:

I made little cuts in the corners and folded the top in:

And folded the bottom around:

So it looked like this:

And then I added some little beaded sticker embellishments:

And a magnet:

But that wimpy little magnet wasn't strong enough to hold the tin when it was holding pens.

So I plastered the back of that sucker with magnet tape:

And it became the little tin that could:

I went all out and bought some extra fancy pens at the Dollar Tree:

And I put it next to my favorite little desktop organizer:

Vintage tin? I don't need no stinkin' vintage tin.

All I need is a used mint tin and my trusty crafting supplies!

It's Prom Season & Disney's Prom is just in time!

Hey All!

Do you remember your High School Prom? Well Disney is going to help you remember. At “Prom,” every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; “Prom” portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one “Prom.” Featuring an emerging ensemble cast and a powerful soundtrack, “Prom” hits theaters April 29, 2011.

Here is one of the heart throbs all your teen daughters will love named Jesse!

And also here is a clip from the film...

This movie is sure to be a great teen film from Disney. I'm sure my teen will want to see it and I hope yours will too.
