I had the privilege of being able to test out this App and I didn't even want to put it down and I'm an adult! I knew I would have to share how much I love it with my fabulous readers! Please forgive my bad picture. My digital camera is old and on death's door, so I couldn't get really good pics. I digress...
I think this App is the most fun way I have ever seen to introduce children to playing piano! It helps get them started by allowing them to learn the piano keys and music notes as they play the game more and more.
When you download the App onto your Apple gadget and touch press it to start up, it gives you the following options: You can play and sing along, learn a song, put it in karaoke mode, or put it in free style mode.
With this play-a-song App, children can also do the following:
♫ Follow the lighted keys or match the colorful music notes to the piano keys .
♫ Watch the piano keys light up one by one with the song .
♫ Press the start button and sing along .
♫ Add animal sounds to the song .
♫ Hear the song played on a banjo, xylophone, harp, flute, bells and more!
♫ Record your child singing and playing the piano!
♫ And sing and read karaoke style lyrics in English, French & Spanish!
It's amazing how much this adorable App does. It makes playing the piano not just fun, but educational too! This App is really great for the whole family.
Frankly... it will probably save you some time and money because getting your child piano lessons can cost a pretty penny. Trust me... I know. I took some piano and vocal lessons growing up in New York City, so I know how much it can cost. This App will at least get them on there way to learning how to play piano when you're on a tight budget.
I highly recommend this App for anyone who'd love to have music and the arts as a part of their child's daily life. I'm a firm believer that music and the arts can help a child learn better and excel in school and it's a part of teaching that should not be neglected in the daily lives of children.
