Disney's Prom Movie Event! Releasing April 29, 2011!
Hey All!
Today was a nutty day as I was invited to meet the cast of Disney's new movie, "Prom!" Courtesy of the fabulous store Macy's and Mom Bloggers Club at the Glendale, CA Mall!
The place was super crowded with over 200 guests that consisted mainly of tween and teen girls from the Glendale Macy's Junior Depart who also got to meet the stars of this amazing film! Here is a clip below if you haven't read my previous posts about "Prom!"
Aimme Teegarden and Thomas McDonell and the rest of the talented cast signed Prom posters for all the eagerly awaiting screaming tweens, teens, and little girls. As you can see if the pics, it was jam packed with screaming girls.
The cast was also making a girl's prom dream come true by Donating and giving away your gently worn prom of formal dress at the signing as it will go in the to the local donate-my-dress-dot-org chapter, LA’s Prom Closet. The cast and crowd were super exited to be able to make some one's dream Prom come true.
The cast stood for hours to sign everyone's poster. It was really nice to see how much the fans meant to them. Here are a few pictures from the event.
I am happy to report that the cast was super nice and very eager to meet their fans. Yes, Aimee Teegarden, Thomas McDonell, Danielle Campbell, Yin Chang, Kylie Bunbury, Nicholas Braun, Jared Kusnitz, Jonathan Keltz, De’Vaughn Nixon, Nolan Sotillo, Cameron Monaghan, Joe Adler, Janelle Ortiz, Raini Rodriguez were all in attendance at this special event. Everyone had a great time at this event. These kids are sure to be huge stars after the movie releases.
A little about Prom...
"At Prom,” every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches; Prom” portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott (Aimee Teegarden), it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to the guy (Thomas McDonell) who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Fellow seniors Mei (Yin Chang) and Tyler (De’Vaughn Nixon) harbor secrets, while others face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there’s only one Prom.”
Featuring an emerging ensemble cast and a powerful soundtrack, “Prom” is shure to be a Huge hit when it comes out in theaters April 29, 2011.
I can't wait to see it with my teen so I can relive my own Prom! I'm sorry if the pictures are not that clear and don't look that great as it was crowded and we weren't allowed to take pictures when we met them.
Again, "Prom” hits theaters April 29, 2011.
***Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, through the Mom Bloggers Club, that I will receive payment for and a $25 Macy's Gift Card for covering this event. All opinions are my own.***
