Have you heard of EZ Sox? No? What's EZ Sox you ask? Well EZ Sox are the world's first training socks for toddlers. They were created by parents who tired of seeing their young son struggle to learn how to dress himself. Eileen and Ronnie Gesser designed socks for their son with pull-up loops on both sides of each sock. They discovered something great and are sharing their amazing EZ sox with the world.
The socks have fun characters on the tops of the socks that instantly attract children to them and are a great teaching tool for showing kids how to dress. They help build the confidence that pre-schoolers and toddlers need as they learn to dress themselves. And they make learning fun!
They made very well with Reinforced loops that give the childs tiny fingers a strong grip for pulling. They are also made seamless with Cute animal faces that act as a guide, showing them which way is up side of the EZ Sox and non-skid bottoms that make them safe on slippery surfaces.
I received a pair of the green frog design seen in the picture above. I have a nephew that is a toddler and he is just learning to dress himself, since I only have a teenager I couldn't try them on him. I wish I had these when he was a toddler since it probably would have helped him learn quicker, I digress...
My Nephews mother did not want his pictures featured on the internet to "millions of strangers" as she said, Sorry! So I don't have pics to show of him trying them, but I did indeed try the EZ Sox on him.
We had a blast playing dress up. I helped him wrap his little fingers through the loops and pull up them up over his feet. He still very young and learning and is probably is too young to do it on his own quite yet. But you could see he was soaking in the concept of what to do and why he needed to pull up the sox. And he enjoyed the Frog design and tried to play with the sox as if they were a toy. Once they were on him he didn't try to take them off, which is a good sign. He seemed to really enjoy his EZ Sox and I'm sure the more he uses them, the faster he will learn how to put his EZ Sox on all by himself.
They would also make a great gift or stocking stuffer for New Moms with learning toddlers for the Holidays!
